Rafting in Rishikesh:
Departure: Every Day
It is possible here to organize a half day trip or a full day trip which involves a run of 26 Km and requires a minimum of only two people as there are groups covering this stretch almost every day. But if you are looking for some more quality time to spend on the river then we recommend you take the longer 36 Km stretch. However, this would require at least four people.

Trekking in Uttarakhand:
Season: April till November
Trekking in India is one of the finest in the world. Not only do we boast of the highest range of mountains offering even professional trekkers a challenge but some of routes are easily accessible by even amateurs and first time trekkers. Most of these ‘easy’ treks are located in the northern state of Uttarakhand often starting from the town of Rishikesh, which other than being an idle base camp is also known for rafting on Ganga and its tributaries. Rishikesh is 256km by road from Delhi and can be approach by taxi/bus (8 hours) or train (4 and half hours). There is a flight from Delhi to Dehradun which takes an hour only.

Trekking in Ladakh:
Season: June till September
Ladakh, the roof of the world opened to tourists only in the last couple of decades. At an awesome altitude, this highland seems like the bridge between the earth and the sky! It is here where, the forces of nature conspired to render a magical unrealistic landscape, a landscape of extremes, desert and blue waters, burning sun and freezing winds, glaciers and sand dunes- Truly a paradox of nature like no other.
Ladakh is a region in India totally isolated from the modern world. An authentic land, it is faithful to ancestral customs where life is characterized by intense spirituality.

I am just back from three weeks in Northern India that included a week rafting trip on the Kali Gonga with Red Chilli. What a professional and fun group they are!! Their gear was great, their staff experienced and the food wonderful! And after the trip, they worked hard to help the six of us with transportation and hotels for the next leg of our trip. Thanks for a great time guys!!!

I just came back from Chandershila and Ganga River Expedition yesterday with five friends of mine. We all have a mutual decision on the fact that Red Chilli ROCKS!!!! It was a five day expedition and we did not even once feel that we were left with some strangers. The entire team of Red Chilli was warm, gentle and friendly. I would not like to mention here about the beauty of the nature that we experienced as that is quite obvious and can be read in books, if not experienced. I am writing here only in praise of Red Chilli. It is because of them that we could have so much fun. The experience with them would be unforgettable for lifetime, as from now on we pledge to book them on our every trip.
I would like to mention the names of the team that entertained and took great care of us :
1. Arvind Bhardwaj : The gem of a person and very rightly described by the Red chilli as very entertaining and warm person. We named him potable Discovery Channel. I assure that once with him - forever with him.
2. Ashok(urf shoki) : The seven star chef. Only because of him could we survive. There were surprises for us everyday. U name and u have the dish. Don't even think of going on a trip without him. Kudos to him.
3. Sandeep : An all rounder - fast trekker and a fit rafter. lil shy though. give him 3 days to gel with u. great guy.
4. Sehdev : A guide on the raft. extremely cute with a beautiful smile. Sings extremely well. One would surely come back fearless if he is guiding you. Don't be surprised if he asks you to jump in the rapids in return of some favour to him.
5. Rakesh : A brilliant Kayaker with a very witty smile. He would keep entertaining you on the river with his great stunts. We used to call him BOND!!!. You would be lucky if u get to hear his voice.
Love You Red Chilli
